John T. Holmes, CPA, is a Senior Manager in Moore Colson’s Business Assurance Practice. He has over 16 years of experience working with clients ranging in size from start-ups and middle-market to large private and public companies.  John serves as an advisor to clients in many areas, including mergers and acquisitions, fraud investigations, cash flow forecasting, management and financial controls, and technical accounting issues. He also serves as a leader and member of many of the firm’s industry teams.

Prior to joining Moore Colson in 2011, John was Assurance Senior Manager with UHY LLP where he was responsible for managing the assurance practice for their Atlanta office, including audits of SEC clients, due diligence, and fraud investigations. He also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, as an Assurance Manager with their Private Company Services practice, and started his career at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., as a Corporate Internal Auditor. John has served clients in a variety of industries, including Software, Staffing, Technology, Telecom, Licensed Mortgagees, Construction and Home Builders, Service, Distribution, Manufacturing, Nonprofits, Retirement Plans, Auto Dealers, and Insurance.
