Atlanta, Georgia (February 10, 2005) ú Atlanta based
accounting firm, Moore Colson, recently hired Bret J. Roy as Director
of New Business Development. Before coming to the Moore Colson family,
Bret was responsible for consulting and new business development
for Bennett Thrasher PC, of Atlanta. As founder of the Roy Group
in 1998, Bret established a growth management practice, which was
an analytical process responsible for evaluating company performance
and maximizing cash production. The Roy Group joined forces with
Bennett Thrasher in 2002 and Bret transitioned in to the new business
development role. Bret was responsible for 30% of the firm's growth,
over the last two years. At Moore Colson, Bret will serve in the
same function and be responsible for developing new business relationships
for the firm.
With over 20 years experience in the industry, Bret has held positions
with Bellsouth Corporation as Financial Planning Manager and Senior
Financial Analyst, and United Parcel Service, Inc. as Financial
Planning Manager.
Bret is a graduate of Tulane University with a Masters of Business
Administration in Finance and Louisiana State University with a
Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
