Moore Colson Rings in the True Meaning of Christmas.

Moore Colson Aids Hurricane Katrina Victim For The Holiday

Marietta based accounting firm Moore Colson once again makes the holiday season a bit brighter for those less fortunate. This year in Lieu of material gifts, Moore Colson made a monetary donation on behalf of clients and friends to MUST Ministries, Eagle Ranch and The Center For Family Resources. They are all non-profit organizations supporting youth, families and individuals in need, throughout Georgia. Moore Colson is a full-service CPA firm providing tax and assurance services, management consulting services, financial services and information technology audit services.

Moore Colson has also been assisting a Hurricane Katrina victim since this fall. Now living in Atlanta, the family’s hometown was severely damaged by the storm. In addition to helping with housing expenses, Moore Colson provided toys and household kitchen items. Moore Colson matched monetary donations made by firm employees and presented gift certificates and a check to the family.

“We are extremely happy to be able to help these wonderful organizations during the holiday season, and in turn, provide some joy for those in need.” Says Leah Manderano, who co-organized the project for Moore Colson. “The response from our firm and employees has been incredible. It’s so rewarding to experience the giving nature of the folks at Moore Colson. We are truly thankful to be in a position to help those in need.” Says Jena DiGiacomo, Business Assurance Manager and project co-organizer, Moore Colson.
