Moore Colson Aids Hurricane Katrina Victim For The Holiday
Marietta based accounting firm Moore Colson once again makes the
holiday season a bit brighter for those less fortunate. This year in
Lieu of material gifts, Moore Colson made a monetary donation on
behalf of clients and friends to MUST Ministries, Eagle Ranch and
The Center For Family Resources. They are all non-profit
organizations supporting youth, families and individuals in need,
throughout Georgia. Moore Colson is a full-service CPA firm
providing tax and assurance services, management consulting
services, financial services and information technology audit
services.
Moore Colson has also been assisting a Hurricane Katrina victim
since this fall. Now living in Atlanta, the family’s hometown was
severely damaged by the storm. In addition to helping with housing
expenses, Moore Colson provided toys and household kitchen items.
Moore Colson matched monetary donations made by firm employees and
presented gift certificates and a check to the family.
“We are extremely happy to be able to help these wonderful
organizations during the holiday season, and in turn, provide some
joy for those in need.” Says Leah Manderano, who co-organized the
project for Moore Colson. “The response from our firm and employees
has been incredible. It’s so rewarding to experience the giving
nature of the folks at Moore Colson. We are truly thankful to be in

MUST Ministries is a non-profit, faith-based organization that since
1971 has provided food, clothing, job assistance as well as school
supplies, emergency and transitional housing to persons in crisis,

The Center For Family Resources, in its fourth decade, provides
emergency shelter for homeless families via transitional housing.
