Moore Colson CPAs Hires Senior Tax Manager

Atlanta, Georgia (October 27, 2008) – Atlanta based accounting firm, Moore Colson, CPAs, recently announced the hiring of Michael J. Elliot, CPA, as a senior manager in the firm’s tax services practice. Moore Colson is a full-service accounting firm located in Atlanta, Georgia, providing; tax and assurance services, management consulting services, lender services, estate and financial services, real estate, and IT audit services.

Prior to joining Moore Colson in 2008, Mike worked for Metcalf Davis, CPAs in Atlanta Georgia, and Tishman Speyer Properties, LP in New York City, as a Tax Manager. Mike also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Deloitte & Touche LLP in New York City. Mike has over 13 years experience in both public accounting and private industry

At Moore Colson, Mike will be the lead tax services senior manager for our real estate industry niche. He brings considerable technical expertise to our firm in the complex federal taxation areas of real estate and partnerships.

Mike is a graduate of Pace University, New York, NY, MS-Taxation, and the University of Albany (SUNY), Albany, NY, BS-Accounting. Mike is a Certified Public Accountant in both Georgia and New York, and a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
