Atlanta Based Moore Colson Hires COO

Atlanta, Georgia (March 31, 2008) – Atlanta based accounting firm, Moore Colson, recently announced the hiring of Ken Burrows as Chief Operating Officer. With 22 year’s industry experience, Ken will lead the firm’s finance and operations functions. Moore Colson, founded in 1981, is a full-service firm located in Atlanta, Georgia, providing tax and assurance services, real estate services, management consulting services, estate and financial services, and IT audit services.

Prior to joining Moore Colson, Ken worked for Abovo Group, Inc., Atlanta, GA, where he served as Vice President of Finance. Ken’s focus was enhancing cash flow, building their planning and forecasting processes, providing more timely and insightful decision support tools, and streamlining operational processes.

Ken has held financial and operational leadership roles with CWK Network in Atlanta, Thomson / Tax Partners in Atlanta, North Highland Company in Atlanta, and Georgia-Pacific in various locations. During his professional career, Ken has been credited with facilitating organizational growth, improving profitability, strengthening cash positions, re-engineering finance and credit processes, reducing employee turnover, and negotiating strategic contracts. Ken is a graduate of Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska, with a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration in Accounting, with a minor in Economics.
