Moore Colson Presents Annual Firm Achievement Award at The University of Georgia’s J.M. Tull School of Business Honors Banquet

Atlanta, Georgia (April 18, 2008) – Atlanta based Moore Colson, CPAs, presented the firm’s annual Accounting Achievement Award to senior accounting student, Stephanie L. Crissey, at the University of Georgia’s J.M. Tull School of Business Spring Honors Banquet, on April 17, 2008. The annual Accounting Banquet, held at the Athens Classic Center, recognizes 50 of "best of the best" in the Tull School with various awards and scholarships. Over 275 students, faculty/staff, and firm representatives were in attendance. Moore Colson Estate and Financial Strategies Partner, Alex Kahn, and Steven Murphy, Senior Tax Manager, attended. Alex Kahn presented this year’s Moore Colson Scholarship to Stephanie L. Crissey, who is also a 2008 Moore Colson summer intern.

The Moore Colson Accounting Achievement Award was established to recognize either a member or initiate of Beta Alpha Psi. The recipient must demonstrate great all around academic and personal skills and be someone who is considered to have the energy and insight necessary to provide future growth to the accounting profession.

Stephanie’s accolades are impressive. With an overall GPA of 3.87, and an accounting GPA of 4.0, Stephanie has been quite active in a number of organizations. To name a few, Stephanie has participated in or been awarded the following: University of Georgia Dean’s List, Honors Program, Presidential Scholar, Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Honor Fraternity, Volunteer for the Boys and Girls Club of America, and HERO for Children. Stephanie expects to receive a B.B.A. - Accounting, spring 2008, and will pursue a M.Acc in 2009. Stephanie begins her professional summer internship with Moore Colson at the end of May.
