Moore Colson CPAs Adds Senior Manager to Firm’s Real Estate Practice

Atlanta, Georgia (June 23, 2008) – Atlanta based accounting firm, Moore Colson, recently announced the hiring of Amy M. Quinn, CPA, as a Senior Manager in its real estate practice. Amy has 19 years experience in real estate investments, due diligence, finance, and financial reporting, with an in-depth knowledge of commercial real estate equities and mortgages. Founded in 1981, Moore Colson is a full-service accounting firm located in Atlanta, Georgia, providing; real estate, tax and assurance services, management consulting services, estate and financial services, and IT audit services.

Before joining Moore Colson’s real estate practice, Amy was the Portfolio Asset Manager for Songy Partners, Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, Amy directed all asset management for the company’s real estate portfolio, where she implemented the overall strategic plan and maximized asset value and investor returns. Songy’s portfolio includes office and hotel operating properties as well as renovation and development projects. Amy was responsible for oversight of property management, operating budgets, cash flow projections and financing negotiations.

Amy also served in various management roles for ten years with MetLife, Atlanta, Georgia, in both Real Estate Investments and Financial Management areas. Amy was a manager on the Real Estate Investment Committee with oversight of the Real Estate Investments Business plan, totaling over $2.5 billion in income and $30 billion in asset value.

Amy also performed real estate due diligence consulting for Trimont Real Estate Advisors, Atlanta, Georgia, and BPSkolnick Consulting, Dallas, Texas. Amy also worked for KPMG Peat Marwick, Atlanta, Georgia.

Amy is a graduate of the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Concentration in Accounting, and a member of the University’s Dean’s List.
