Moore Colson Devotes A Day To The Cherokee Outdoor Family YMCA

Atlanta, Georgia (June 18, 2009) – Atlanta based accounting firm, Moore Colson CPAs, recently volunteered its entire staff for a day of community involvement with the Cherokee Outdoor Family YMCA on Lake Allatoona. Moore Colson, founded in 1981, is a full-service accounting and consulting firm located in Atlanta, Georgia, providing tax, assurance, real estate, management consulting, estate and financial planning, IT audit consulting, and lender services.

Each year, Moore Colson devotes a full day for the firm to give back to the community. This year Moore Colson volunteered with the YMCA. Firm employees gathered at the Cherokee Outdoor location for a brief introductory meeting from YMCA staff members, and then teamed up to prepare the grounds for the summer camp season. Moore Colson teams worked on a wide range of maintenance projects from painting fences, planting, mulching, weed eating, and hedge trimming, to a complete wash/scrub of the entire playground.
