Moore Colson IT Audit Director Tom Jinks to Lead TAG Information
Security Panel Discussion
Atlanta, Georgia (August 25, 2009) – Atlanta-based accounting firm, Moore Colson CPAs,
recently announced that Tom Jinks, IT Audit Director, Moore Colson, and Technology
Association of Georgia (TAG) Information Security Board member, has been selected to lead an
industry panel discussion for TAG’s Information Security Society.
The panel discussion, “Maintaining Security in a Down Economy” will be presented on
Thursday, August 27 from 6:30p.m. to 8:30p.m. at MacQuarium Intelligent Communications,
1800 Peachtree Street, Suite 250, Atlanta, Georgia. Attendees will hear from three of Atlanta’s
top IT executives; Brad Sanford, CIO—Emory, Mark Reardon, CISO—Georgia Technology
Authority, and Paul Huesken, Director of Information Assurance—Coca Cola, as they discuss
budget-smart tactics and strategies they have leveraged for improving an organization’s
information security during tough economic times. Attendees will also learn how these
executives have prioritized security initiatives, implemented creative solutions and policies to
accomplish more with less in the current downturn.

and controls related to SOX attestation for several $1 billion+ organizations. He has led
compliance projects, HIPAA security assessments, preparedness, remediation, and information
security best practices consultation for numerous healthcare and life sciences providers. Moore
Colson has performed over 18,000 hours of SOX and HIPAA compliance services work, over
the last six years.
