Bert T. Mills— is the Partner in Charge of Moore Colson’s Tax Department, and works closely with Moore Colson Wealth Management. Bert’s focus is on providing practical money-saving tax strategies to high net worth individuals, professional athletes, closely held businesses, business owners and corporate executives. Bert’s expertise in navigating the maze of tax laws has helped clients develop successful short and long term tax strategies for themselves and their businesses. This wide range of experience includes tax planning for corporations, partnerships, LLC’s and individuals; representation before the IRS; estate planning; corporate structuring and restructuring; tax planning in mergers and acquisitions; and stock options planning.

Prior to joining Moore Colson, Bert was a Tax Manager at Coopers & Lybrand. Bert was named Partner in Charge of Moore Colson’s Tax Department in 1993. Bert earned his B.A in Accounting from the University of Florida in 1984 and his Masters of Taxation from Georgia State University in 1986.
