Jason Birmingham is a Partner in Moore Colson’s consulting Practice with extensive experience in Moore Colson’s Business Assurance Practice. Jason has over 29 years of experience in providing transaction-related due diligence/business assurance services across various industries including distribution, manufacturing, service, transportation, and construction.
Over the past 25 years, Jason has worked with strategic clients, PEGS and banks and he provided various due diligent services including buy-side quality of earnings, analysis on potential acquisitions, cash flow projections and new/modified loan financial diligence.
Quality of earnings analysis have been performed on over 150 potential targets with revenues ranging from $1 million to $500 million in revenues. These services included assisting the buyer on understanding the financial risks associated with the target, reviewing of acquisition purchase agreements, assessing final working capital amounts as well as assisting in opening balance sheet accounting. In addition, supported companies in preparing cash flow projections and consulting on various business issues. Lastly, provided banks assistance by performing financial due diligence on companies that they were looking to provide a loan to or make modifications to current the debt structure.
He is also experienced in conducting collateral reviews as part of Moore Colson’s Lender Services group. While working in the Business Assurance Practice area, clients call on Jason to provide comprehensive, independent assurance services that add value to their businesses. By partnering with clients and getting to know their unique needs, Jason is able to not only provide an assessment of past history but also a strategy for the future.
