Our HistoryProudly serving the Southeast since 1981
A Different Model from the Start
In 1981, Moore Colson’s first office included a staff of two professionals, one book-keeper and one receptionist. Greg Colson and Jack Moore set out to create a CPA firm that provided traditional accounting and consulting services for closely held businesses, but also a CPA firm that was different. They looked beyond the typical “book of business” model of most accounting firms. Knowing that they would bring more value to their clients by operating as a true partnership, they founded a consultative firm that put their clients in the center of all they collectively had to offer. This client-centered approach steers Moore Colson to this day. From our entire firm, professionals with industry-specific expertise are selected to address your unique needs and challenges. We develop long-term relationships with our clients to fully understand their business and to maximize profits, lower taxes, create financial security for the business and its owners.
One of America’s Best and Largest Firms
From that small office of four in 1981, Moore Colson has grown to become one of America’s largest and most successful accounting, consulting, and advisory firms. With over 160 employees and 24 partners, Moore Colson provides an expansive range of accounting and consulting services to help our clients grow their business and achieve their goals.
